Brand new Punting Picnics available now
We’ve entered this new season with a hand full of surprises for our customers. From our Audio tour app to our new efficient and easy booking platform. Although the most delicious new development is our new partnership with All On Boards – a local business offering divine grazing boards and boxes. At Let’s Go Punting we are delighted to be offering three different picnic options for our customers.
All of our picnics are designed to be enjoyed onboard during your chauffeured punting tour along the college backs in Cambridge. However, if it is your preference you are very welcome to enjoy it either before or after your tour on Jesus Green. Just let us know when booking your picnic boxes and we will happily accommodate your request.
All of our picnics can be purchased directly on our website or over the phone by calling 01223 651 659. On the day, all picnic boxes will be delivered to your group at our meeting point just before departing. These scrumptious picnics and grazing boxes are designed to be shared and each box serves 2-6 people depending on group size. Moreover, we are able to accommodate most dietary requirements, more information can be found on our punting picnics page.
For this season, we are offering 3 different picnic boxes, The Brunch Box, The Deli Style & The Afternoon Tea Picnic. Undoubtedly, the only hard decision here is which box to choose!
Brunch Picnic Box
Who doesn’t love Brunch? And what could be better than enjoying Brunch on a chauffeured punt with the most stunning scenery?
The Brunch Box consists of freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat. As well as the most delicious waffles, accompanied by mini pots of Bon Mamon jam and Nutella. In addition, this box also includes a yoghurt bowl topped with granola and fresh fruits. Finally, the brunch box is topped up with a selection of assorted berries and fruits.
Minimum Order: 4 people. Price: £12.5 per person.
Afternoon Tea Picnic
A traditional Afternoon Tea is a Great British Institution. This delicious picnic box is a twist on the classic traditional British Afternoon Tea.
Thus it includes a range of finger sandwiches, including cheese & chutney, chicken with basil pesto and Cream Cheese with Dill and Cucumber. The savoury is balanced with large fruit scones served with jam and cream on the side, and a selection of chocolate tiffin, lemon drizzle squares and a miniature lemon tarts. An individual sparkling juice per person is also included.
Minimum order: 6 people. Price: £18 per person.
Deli Style Grazing Box
Last but not least is our mouth-watering Deli Style Grazing box. This grazing box is the perfect addition to a sun-soaked afternoon/evening relaxing on a chauffeured punting tour of Cambridge. In this box, you will find a combination of 3 locally sourced cheeses, crackers and a range of high-quality charcuterie. The deli grazing box is then topped up with delicious fruits, nuts, dried fruits and a homemade fig chutney to die for.
A vegetarian option is also available which includes radishes, cherry tomatoes, humous and sweet potato falafel.
£35 for 2 or Minimum order: 4 people. Price: £14 per person.
