What could be more indulgent than sipping chilled champagne whilst gliding through Cambridge’s famous ‘college backs’?
We offer private punting tours with added Champagne or Prosecco – served chilled and supplied with shatterproof reusable glasses.
Paul Langier Champagne – A stylish brut Champagne. Ripe fruit notes with a classic biscuity finish. £45/bottle
Prosecco Vino Spumante – An elegant Prosecco with delicate lemon fruit notes and a refreshing lively style. £25/bottle
Belle and Co Alcohol-Free Sparkling Rosé- A sophisticated zero alcohol sparkling, made using a unique non-alcoholic fermentation method with green tea. £15/bottle
Enjoy the Glide
Our luxurious ‘Glider’ punts, complete with raised seating for the very best view, are ready for your Champagne Punting tour along the college backs in Cambridge. Punting with us is a must-do on those gorgeous summer evenings in Cambridge. Sit back and relax whilst sipping chilled bubbly and enjoying the majestic college backs in all their glory.
Champagne punting is the perfect option for a date night in Cambridge or the best way to kick off an evening on the town with some friends.
Our private punting tours last for approximately 50 minutes and are return trips along backs, after selecting your time and date on the booking module above you can add your chilled Champagne or Prosecco to your punting trip and it will be waiting for you at our check-in desk.
Know Before You Go
Drinks are added to your Private Tour booking once a time and date has been selected. For less than 48 hours’ notice please contact the office.
A maximum of one bottle of prosecco or champagne per 2 adults can be ordered. We operate a Challenge 25 policy.
Tours are booked for a specific time. Late arrival will result in a shortened or missed tour.
You will receive a text message 5 minutes before your departure time please come to our meeting point when you have received this message.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board. Please ensure you take all your rubbish with you.
Once confirmed, bookings can be amended subject to availability. Tours go ahead in poor weather. More information including cancellation policy can be found here: Terms & Conditions.

COVID-19 Safety Measures
- Boat sides and cushions cleaned between each tour.
- Specific departure times booked in advance to assist social distancing and avoid queuing.
- Free audio tour available on an app (if required).
- To minimise cross-contamination umbrellas are temporarily unavailable. (Life jackets can be provided on advance request.)
- We are unable to allow any customers the opportunity to have a go at punting.
