Punt Chauffeur Job Description

We are looking for both permanent and temporary, full and part-time Punting Tour Guides to work for Let’s Go Punting.

We have flexible shifts available with weekend work being required.

We are looking for articulate, hard-working, energetic and positive people to join us and provide punting tours along the college ‘Backs’.

You will need to be physically able to punt as much as 10 miles in a day (on the busiest days). Whilst doing that you will need to brush up on your history because you will be expected to deliver an entertaining spiel regaling tales of alumni, architecture and the academic history of the jewel in Cambridge’s crown….the University!

Don’t be daunted, full training will be provided which will bring your punting skills up to scratch in no time and your customer service will improve with every tour. We offer excellent rates of pay starting at £17.50 per tour.

Minimum Commitment: One weekend day per week.
