Christmas Carols on the River

We are delighted that the Choir from St John the Evangelist are joining us on the river again this year.

Let’s Go Punting, in collaboration with the Traditional Punting Company, is now taking bookings for our Annual Charity Christmas Carol event, Christmas Carols on the River.

The choir of St John the Evangelist Church will be singing everyone’s favourite Christmas Carols whilst gliding along the River Cam on a Chauffeured Punt at 2:15 pm on Sunday, the 6th of December 2026.

In 2026, 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Wintercomfort for the Homeless.

Christmas is a time for love, joy, and, most importantly, supporting those in need. That’s why we host this event each year, with all proceeds going directly to our chosen charity. This year we have selected Wintercomfort for the Homeless.

Wintercomfort for the Homeless provides essential support to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Cambridge, offering services such as hot meals, showers, laundry facilities, practical advice and opportunities to develop skills, build confidence and work towards a more secure future.
