Scavenger Hunts
Looking for an additional activity for your Day Out in Cambridge?
You can add a scavenger hunt to any punting booking, it’s a great way to explore Cambridge City Centre in a fun (and competitive) way. The hunt is self-run and we recommend teams of 5-8 people.
Scavenger Hunts
Our scavenger hunt is based around Cambridge City centre and includes 3 question rounds, photo challenges & a collection task. We post scavenger hunt packs to you 1-2 weeks before your booking date. The packs include question sheets, maps and a pen for each time, additionally, a sealed answers envelope is included so you can mark your answers at the end of the hunt.
We suggest allowing 2 hours to complete the hunt, starting in the City Centre just off the market square. You can finish at this point or at a landmark of your choice (perhaps close to your next activity?) Just make sure all the teams know where the finishing point is!
Pricing
Prices start at just £60 for 2 team packs. Additional team packs are charged at £20 each. We suggest teams of 5-8 people. Therefore for groups larger than 16-18 people, we would suggest ordering additional team packs.
Know Before You Go
Scavenger Hunts can only be purchased in conjunction with a punting booking.
Scavenger hunts can be purchased over the phone or online via invoice. Please contact us for further information.
As the scavenger hunts are self run and posted out in advance of the booking date they are non refundable after the posting date. More information can be found here: Terms & Conditions.
Why Book a Scavenger Hunt?
Scavenger Hunts are an ideal way to explore Cambridge City Centre in a fun and informal way. By completing our Cambridge Scavenger Hunt you will spend 2 hours discovering interesting facts about Cambridge and finding some hidden gems whilst passing some of Cambridge’s most famous sights including King’s College Chapel, The Corpus Christi Clock, The Market Square & Guildhall, The Round Church and St Johns College.
Scavenger hunts are a popular option for Hen Parties, School Groups, Corporate Events & Team Building exercises. Whilst our scavenger hunt is suitable for all of the above groups if you are looking for something specific or would like us to personalise the hunt to your requirements please do get in touch.
Punting in Cambridge –
A Few Changes.
Due to social distancing guideline and minimising cross contamination we have made the following changes:
- Life Jackets and Umbrellas are temporarily unavailable. You are very welcome to bring your own.
- We are unable to allow any customers the opportunity to have a go at punting.
- Our rugs covering the cushions have been replaced with a wipe clean material.
