Chauffeured Punting in Cambridge is the perfect option for your Corporate event or team building exercise.
We don’t just offer punting! In addition to private chauffeured punting tours along the college backs in Cambridge, we can organise picnics, scavenger hunts, walking tours and games – all perfect accompaniments to punting in Cambridge.
Corporate Punting Tours
What could be more relaxing? Sit back, relax and take in the sights on one of our 50-minute private chauffeured punting tours along the college backs in Cambridge.
Tours are return trips starting from, and returning to, our landing stage on the corner of Jesus Green (CB5 8AG). During the tour, our chauffeurs will provide a guided tour regaling you with tales of Cambridge history and student pranks.
Our large ferry punts are perfect for corporate group punting tours. Each boat seats up to 12 passengers and we have multiple boats available meaning we can accommodate bookings of up to 96 people.
During the return punting trip along the college backs, you will pass 7 riparian colleges namely, Magdalene, St Johns, Trinity, Trinity Hall, Clare, Kings, and Queens. Famous bridges and buildings include; the Bridge of Sighs, Kings College Chapel, The Mathematical Bridge & The Wren Library.
Tours last for approximately 50 minutes with an extended 80-minute trip available (Monday-Friday only). During the extended trip, there is time for some of the party to have a go at punting – under the expert tuition of your chauffeur of course.
Drinks
Prosecco Vino Spumante, 75cl (10.5 ABV) – £25.00
This Prosecco boosts delicate notes of lemon and white stone fruit.
Paul Langier Champagne Brut , 75cl (12.5 ABV) – £45.00
The exquisite blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes offers ripe fruit notes with a biscuity finish.
Belle and Co Alcohol-Free Sparkling Rosé 75cl – £15.00
A sophisticated zero alcohol sparkling, made using a unique non-alcoholic fermentation method with green tea.
Brew Dog – Punk IPA, 330ml (5.4 ABV) – £4.00
This light, golden classic has been subverted with new world hops to create an explosion of flavour.
Birra Moretti – Premium Lager , 330ml (4.6 ABV) – £4.00
Authentically Italian quality lager brewed with passion and the finest ingredients.
Fentimans – Natural Botanic Drinks 275ml – £3.00
Victorian Lemonade, Rose Lemonade, Sparkling Elderflower or Curiosity Cola
Strathmore Still Spring Water 750ml – £2.50
Still Scottish Spring Water
(We operate a challenge 25 policy, alcohol limits per person apply, and all alcoholic drinks must be consumed during the tour).
Picnics
Delicious graze style sharing boxes:
- Deli-style Grazing Picnic – Locally sourced cheeses, charcuterie, antipasti, nuts, dried fruits, crackers and homemade chutney – £15 per person, minimum order 4.
- Brunch Sharing Box- Croissants, Pain Au Chocolat & waffles, granola with fruit & yoghurt, fresh fruits, Nutella, jam and honey – £14 per person. Minimum order 4.
- Afternoon Tea Box – Scrumptious lemon drizzle cake, chocolate tiffin, mini lemon tarts, delicate finger sandwiches, scones with Jam & Cream and a sparkling soft drink per person – £19.50 per person. minimum order 6.
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated on request.
For larger corporate groups we can offer picnic platers including sandwiches, savouries (such as sausage rolls and samosas), fruit and cakes. These platters work well for groups of 20+.
Other Activities
Scavenger Hunts – Our scavenger hunts are self run and we suggest allowing 2 hours to complete. Recommended team size: 5-8 people. £60 for 2 team packs, £20 for additional packs.
Walking Tours – Cambridge city centre walking tours with official blue badge walking tour guides. 90 minute tours are £250 for up to 20 people.
Game hire – Croquet, Giant Jenga, Giant Chess, Giant Dominos, Rounders, £25-£40 per game.
Our tours depart from the corner of Jesus Green which is the perfect spot to enjoy our picnics and play a few games.
Walking tours can either start in the city centre or, alternatively, we can arrange for the guide to meet you from the punts.
Know Before you Go
Tours are booked for a specific time. Late arrival will result in a missed or shortened tour.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks on board.
We can inovce you for payment, either the full or deposit amount. If paying a 30% deposit the balance due 2 weeks before the booking date.
We do go ahead in poor weather. If requested by you we will aim to reschedule wherever possible. If you cancel due to poor weather you will be eligible for a 70% refund (punting only). More information can be found here: Terms & Conditions.
