May Week Fireworks
The Colleges of Trinity & St Johns host spectacular Firework displays during their May Balls each year.
May Week (confusing now in June!) celebrates the end of the Cambridge University exams & is the biggest event in the University’s social calendar. Each college hosts its own May Ball – to highlight the end of the academic year. Each year, Trinity College & St Johns College include incredible fireworks displays aiming to be bigger and better than each other & least year! You can be there, taking it all in from a Chauffeured punt – undoubtedly the best vantage point.

Fireworks from a Chauffeured Punt
Book a Private Tour for up to 12 people or seats on a Shared Punt. Our boats depart at 9.30pm in order to give your chauffeur plenty of time to navigate to a great vantage point for the firework extravaganza at 10.30 – 11.00pm. Boats return around 11.30pm.
The atmosphere on the River Cam over these 2 evenings is unrivalled by any other night of the year, so put the dates in your diary and book early to avoid disappointment as tickets will sell out. Click here to check our video of May Ball 2019!
Prices
Private Tours are £280 for up to 12 people & Shared Tour tickets are £80 for up to 3 people or £160 for up to 6 people.
Food and Drink
You are more than welcome to bring your food and drinks on board – just remember there won’t be any access to toilet facilities whilst out on the river.
Know Before You Go
Shared Tours – Late arrival will result in missing the event. Boats will depart at 9.30pm sharp.
Private Tours – Late arrival may result in missing the fireworks.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks on board.
Full payment is required to secure your booking.
