This December, the River Cam sparkled with festive cheer as we welcomed families, friends, and visitors to our much-loved Christmas Carols on the River 2025 event here at Let’s Go Punting. With cosy blankets, joyful singing, and lots of smiling faces, it was a truly magical evening for all ages. And for a wonderful cause too!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, we are so proud to share that we raised £1,370 for Little Miracles, Cambridge. This is a fantastic Cambridge charity supporting families with children facing serious illness or disability. We are also delighted to be donating an extra £250 to the St John’s Evangelist Choir, who filled the river with festive music and Christmas spirit.
A Magical Christmas Experience on the River
Families wrapped up warm on our traditional Cambridge punts and drifted gently along the river to the sound of classic Christmas carols. Children joined in with the singing, parents relaxed with festive drinks, and everyone enjoyed the peaceful beauty of Cambridge dressed for Christmas.
The wonderful St John’s Evangelist Choir created a truly special atmosphere, turning the river into a floating Christmas concert. Their beautiful voices brought the whole experience to life and made the afternoon unforgettable.
Supporting Little Miracles, Cambridge
At the heart of this event was our shared wish to support Little Miracles. This charity is doing extraordinary work for local families during incredibly difficult times. Every ticket sold helped us reach a fantastic total of £1,370. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed.
