Family Friendly Easter Activites in Cambridgeshire

Today marks the start of the 2023 Easter Holidays; two weeks of fun activities are in store for both kids and parents alike. We are very lucky that we have an abundance of Easter activities in Cambridgeshire to keep you entertained. Below we have curated a list of some of the best things to do this April.

At Let’s Go Punting we understand that entertaining the kids over the holidays can end up being quite an expensive time. We offer an Early Bird Discount to tours departing before 11 am. This is the perfect option for family punting as the river is usually a lot quieter in the mornings and allows you to make the most of the day. The discount is already applied at the checkout, so no need to worry about any promo codes!

Easter Activities in Cambridgeshire

Easter Punting and Activity Book

During Easter, Halloween and Christmas we offer activity packs and scavenger hunts as a £2.50 add-on to our tours. These take place both during our punting tour and around the city centre. Activities include; dot-to-dot; spot the difference; a themed maze; a recipe; plus many more. On the successful completion of the activity booklet, you can take your prize voucher to Hardys Sweet Shop to claim a prize.

The Enchanted Egg Trail

Cambridge Botanical Gardens in springtime is a spectacular sight. Daffodils and Cherry Blossoms are on full display. This free trail challenges you to crack the code of the enchanted egg (with clues scattered around the gardens) to claim your prize.

Easter Adventure Quest

Hunt your way around the gardens of Audley End, participating in traditional Easter events like egg rolling and the egg and spoon race. Once all the eggs have been found you will be awarded a certificate and a chocolate treat.

Easter Egg Hunt and Lambing

Wimpole Hall boasts extensive grounds that provide families with fun days out all year round. This Easter they have a themed trail which leads families across the estate. You can choose from either a dairy, vegan, or free-from, chocolate egg at the end.
