How much we raised on the Children in Need ‘Punt-a-thon’?

In collaboration with the Traditional Punting Company, we organised a 12-hour long ‘Punt-A-Thon’ on Saturday, 2nd November 2019 to raise money for BBC Children in Need. On this special day, our guests could enjoy twelve 50-minute long traditional punting tours in our Polka Dot Pudsey Punt specially designed for the event by Footprints Signs and Graphics.

‘Children in Need’ provides grants to projects all over the UK. Since its creation in 1980 it has raised over £1 billion for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK and in the last grant year alone, the donations helped change the lives of over 589,000 disadvantaged children and young people in the UK!

‘Children in Need’ supports children and young people facing disadvantages such as disability, poverty, abuse and neglect and makes a positive difference to thousands of lives. We are proud to support this organisation to help change lives all across the UK.

Thanks to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, we also had the chance to welcome a very special guest on the day: Pudsey himself! We can proudly announce that despite of the morning showers, everyone had a wonderful time and we even had some sunshine during the day. More importantly, we raised £811 for Children in Need!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported this charity event. Together we can make a difference and can make this world a better place.

And that’s not all. Now, let’s concentrate on our future goals: here’s to Christmas Carols on the River 2019, organised in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices!
