Where to watch the FIFA world cup 2022 in Cambridge

The world’s most popular football tournament, The FIFA world cup 2022 is set to start on Sunday, the 20th of November in Qatar. The teams from 32 countries will compete against one another from the 20th of November to the 18th of December.

The football world cup is held every four years. The last championship took place in Russia in 2018, in which France won and England Came in fourth place.

 

We are not football enthusiasts, but we’re very excited to watch the FIFA world cup from the comfort of our magical little city of Cambridge. After all, nothing beats a warm mulled wine on a cold and chilly night.

 

That’s why we have gathered a list of local pubs in Cambridge where you can watch the world cup 2022 and enjoy a hot cuppa.

The Cambridge BrewHouse

 

The Cambridge brewhouse is also located on King street. Not only does it have an amazing selection of craft beers, but it also has its own range of ales. Furthermore, The pub has five screens for all the live action of the world cup. You can find the football match fixtures on its website.

 

White Swan

The White Swan can be found on Mill Road. This pub has both BT sport and Sky Sports. This means you never have to miss any important matches for your favourite sporting events. Above all, it makes great pizza and has a great selection of beers.

 

Sir Isaac Newton

Cambridge is famous for Sir Isaac Newton and his Tree. So it makes perfect sense that we also have a Sir Isaac Newton pub. Although, we can’t be sure if Newton used to hang out there or not. This Pub is situated on Castle Street in Cambridge. Similar to the White Swan, It also has BT sport and Sky Sports, so football is always on from the champions league to the World Cup.
