Punting in Cambridge will be back on Saturday the 4th of July!
The reopening of punting in Cambridge along the College Backs has been getting some interest recently. Lot’s of media platforms got in touch to hear all about when we are resuming business. So now that the ‘D-day’ is just around the corner we can’t wait to welcome customers back on our punts. Like always, we want to share everything with you too!
What have we been up to during the Lockdown?
We’ve used these past months to get everything ready for the big reopening. Considering all government guidelines and making sure both customers and staff are safe, we have prepared all the necessary measures to continue the joy of punting during the pandemic. Working alongside the Traditional Punting Company, we’ve made the most out of our time during lockdown to produce industry-firsts including a messaging service, perspex screens fitted to the punts and the Audio Tour App. We are hoping all of these measures together with the fact that punting is an outdoor activity will bring many to the River Cam this summer.

As everyone is getting back to normality people are searching for what they can do this summer with their family. Together with the Traditional Punting Company, we managed to get the message out to everyone that Punting in Cambridge is back in business from the 4th July. You may have come across some of the articles online, but just in case you haven’t, please do listen to our interview on the Cambridge Breakfast show – Radio 105. Or you can find us in the Cambridgeshire Live news article, and we were even in the Saturday edition of the daily mail.
