Like every summer, this season was an extremely exciting period of time filled with wonderful surprises, new adventures and warm, golden sunshine. In this blog post, we collected the most memorable highlights of summer 2019.
1. 30th May – Skydiving
What a great start of the season! We surprised our top Chauffeurs, Kieran and Dane with the most unique gift ever… click here for video!
2. 1st June – Instagram Frames
We had a lot of fun during the summer taking photos of punting people posing with our IG frames. Hen parties definitely loved it!

3. 8th June – Cambridge Pride
Cambridge’s first-ever Pride took place this summer where we celebrated love and equality. Love is love!

4. 9th June – Singing on the River
Singing on the River takes place annually and is one of the most beautiful experiences on the Riverside (and it’s free). This year, we listened to the Choir of Trinity College singing a delightful programme of choral music on punts at Trinity backs.

5. The Swan Family
The Swan Family has definitely won many people’s hearts as well as the title of ‘the cutest family of the year’. We saw these little guys growing and growing every single day of the summer.

6. 16th June – The Cardboard Boat Race
Another year, another Cardboard Boat Race. It is always fun to watch Cambridge Students sink their special, uniquely-styled cardboard boats at the end of their academic year.

8. 29th June – Foodies Festival
Foodies Festival was first organised in Cambridge this year and was an absolute success! We particularly enjoyed the Prosecco, Paella and Churros.
