Fun for all the family can be a hard thing to manange, especially when trying to entertain a variety of ages groups, parents included!

Family Fun & GiveAway

If you and your family are in search of a relaxing way to take in the sights (other than going Punting) then book a cabin on Cambridge’s version of the London Eye. Situated in the heart of the city on Parker’s Piece the Ferris wheel affords super views of most landmarks and will give even locals an interesting bird’s eye vista of how Cambridge city centre is knitted together.

A Dinky Door Trail…

My big girl (6) was off school on Monday for a training day and stuck for things to do we decided to head into Cambridge in search of some Dinky Doors and a go on Cambridge’s newest attraction- the Big Wheel (more on that later…)

“We had thought about punting but having the baby we didn’t pre-book anything and just said we would play it by ear. And we don’t regret it!”

Inside a seasonal Business

Punts gliding along the River Cam past sunny riverside gardens in summer.

Let’s Go Punting, mainly due to operating outside, is a seasonal business, hitting its’ peak from April until late September. However, pre-covid, due to increasing low season demand, we were operating punting tours along the college backs all year round.

Although the most delicious of all this news is our new partnership with All On Boards – a local business that has just set sail throughout the pandemic, for a set of three different picnic boxes.
