If you and your family are in search of a relaxing way to take in the sights (other than going Punting). Then book a cabin on Cambridge’s version of the London Eye. As it is situated in the heart of the city on Parker’s Piece the Ferris wheel. Also, it affords superb views of most landmarks. Also, will give even locals an interesting bird’s eye vista of how Cambridge city centre is knitted together.

We went as a family recently with our 1-year-old and 6-year-old. Our youngest was most interested in trying to breach the confines of our cabin. she was unsuccessful despite repeated attempts ✅✅.  As Safety wasn’t a concern and everyone enjoyed their ride. More importantly, Covid measures were rigorous so we all felt very safe. It’s possible to rent the champagne cabin if you feel like flexing. However, we opted for the standard experience which ticked all the boxes.

The good news is that Let’s Go Punting and City View Wheel are collaborating on a weekday offer of both activities as a discounted package throughout the summer. They really do complement each other and would therefore see these two Cambridge activities in the “must do” category.
