Halloween Punt & Hunt Tour

This Halloween we are bringing you a spooktacular activity booklet as an add-on to our punting tours. This activity booklet will entertain the children whilst on your punting tour along the River Cam and takes you on a spooky hunt through the haunted streets of Cambridge.

Grab your brooms, it’s time to leave the haunted house for this half-term! Join us, from Saturday the 23rd of October to Sunday the 31st of October for this unique spooky punt and hunt experience. Whether you book for a private or a shared punting tour, you will be able to book our original Halloween booklets for your tour for only £2.50 per child.

Let’s Get Spooky

Dress up, bring props and make sure to have plenty of fun. This Punt & Hunt tour along the River Cam is all you were looking for, and I’m sure you won’t want to miss it!

Set off on a 50-minute long chauffeured punting tour along the college backs and explore the ‘On the River’ activities on your activity booklet, for some fun world-search, dot to dot and spot the difference with a spooky twist. Test your chauffeur’s knowledge to help answer the questions and crack the code.

Once the punting tour finishes its course, it’s time to wander off on this one of a kind spooky scavenger hunt through the city centre. Follow it carefully so you won’t miss any of Cambridge’s most haunted spots. Follow the clues to learn about the Ghosts and Ghouls of Cambridge past whilst finding some of Cambridge’s Dinkiest Doors for photo opportunities. Whilst completing the Scavenger Hunt there are some Parent Prompts to help develop the spooky story for the little ones!.

At last but not least make sure you’ve cracked the code to unlock a sweet treat from Hardy’s Sweet Shop.

No Tricks, just a real treat!

Not only does this Scavenger Hunt keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours but it has a sweet treat waiting for you! When following your activity booklet instructions, will lead to your final stop: Hardy’s Sweet Shop! And you’ve guessed it right, we will be offering you, sweets, to take with you.

There will be only the prize of one treat per booklet. So we recommend purchasing a booklet per child.

We have designed the hunt with children 4-10 years old in mind (with the first section being more accessible to the youngest ones) but older children may well enjoy getting involved and helping the little ones – especially if there are some sweets in it for them!
