WHAT’S ON

Outdoor Cinema

Cinemas:

1. The Gentlemen

Starting us out on the 12th August is The Gentlemen, rated 18+, released in 2019 this action packed crime film incorporates humour to tell the tale of treachery.

In this film an American expat attempts to sell off their marijuana empire based in London, which sets of a chain of events as people attempt to steal his kingdom out form under him. With treachery, scheming, blackmail, bribery and a lot of plotting this film will be sure to keep you on your toes.

2. Top Gun

Our second film, on the 13th of August is Top Gun, rated PG-13, so this film is more accessible to families with teenagers, and even your 13 year old won’t be able to complain about having to spend an evening with their family! This film needs no introduction, as it is legendary, so without further ado I hope you decide to go along and enjoy it.

3. Jurassic Park

Third on out list is Jurassic Park, rated PG, is being played on the 14th August.

In this film, whilst I’m sure you don’t need a synopses, a paleontologist who, whilst visiting a theme park becomes tasked with protecting 2 children when a power failure causes the dinosaurs to get loose.

This is perfect for family fun, as long as your younger ones are okay with a couple of jump scares or two! This thrilling film will have you on the edge of your seats, no matter how many times you’ve seen it, and will entrance your little ones.

4. A Star Is Born

And finally, on the 15th August, A Star Is Born, rated 15, will be playing. This famous film, that has been reproduced several times is too evocative for words.

As I’m sure you know this film will make you want to laugh and cry and send you on a roller coaster of emotions . In this musical film an older musician aids a young potential singer and help support her through the start of her career. And as the film progresses alcoholism sends his career in a downward spiral.
