Millions of people world wide tune into the Christmas eve service put on by Kings College chapel every year. Will you?
A festival of Nine Lessons and Carols was originally created to inspire an imaginative approach to worship. It was first organised in 1918 by the dean of king’s College at the time, Eric Milner-white. He became convinced of this need after his years of experience as an army chaplain. The Christmas Eve service was first broadcasted in 1928 and has since grown in cultural relevance every year since.

-Tickets are distributed to members of the public using a luck based ballot system.
-Queuing officially starts at 7.30am in the morning for a service that begins at 3pm.
-The Choral Scholars of King’s College usually sing to the queue to entertain people as they wait 🙂
