Family Fun & GiveAway

If you and your family are in search of a relaxing way to take in the sights (other than going Punting) then book a cabin on Cambridge’s version of the London Eye. Situated in the heart of the city on Parker’s Piece the Ferris wheel affords super views of most landmarks and will give even locals an interesting bird’s eye vista of how Cambridge city centre is knitted together.

A Dinky Door Trail…

My big girl (6) was off school on Monday for a training day and stuck for things to do we decided to head into Cambridge in search of some Dinky Doors and a go on Cambridge's newest attraction- the Big Wheel (more on that later...)

Inside a seasonal Business

Let's Go Punting, mainly due to operating outside, is a seasonal business, hitting its' peak from April until late September. However, pre-covid, due to increasing low season demand, we were operating punting tours along the college backs all year round.

What’s new in Cambridge

What a year it has been... However, not everything has been bad news, and these are the things that we should be cheering for! This could include the positive moments that have happened within our families or celebrations that have occurred, but also to all those things that have happened around us. For example, all the new independent businesses that have managed to still make their way into Cambridge this year.

Support independent and local businesses

Our vibrant city has long been a home for the most extraordinary independent and local businesses. These have shaped the soul of our city ever since. Unfortunately, the year 2020 has been unprecedented and presented many local independent businesses with challenges and hardship.

Welcome to town, Thrive !

A brand new plant-based friendly cafe, bistro and venue just landed in Cambridge. Thrive! It's great to see another vegan and eco-friendly establishment settling down in our beautiful city. Additionally, we've decided to dedicate a blog post to this new progressive green hub sharing some insights about their story and food.

Breaking News!

The reopening of punting in Cambridge along the College Backs has been getting some interest recently. Lot's of media platforms got in touch to hear all about when we are resuming business. So now that the 'D-day' is just around the corner we can't wait to welcome customers back on our punts. Like always, we want to share everything with you too!
