What is Christmas without our favourite Christmas traditions? And this year we were delighted to be able to host our annual Christmas Carols on the River Cam!
With 2020 slowly coming to an end, it is time to look forward to the new opportunities that 2021 will bring. It is time to say goodbye to 2020 and be hopeful 2021 a better one globally On a personal level Planning, a New Year's Resolutions list is a great way to reflect on the year gone by and how you can make improvements to your life or those around you As a small independent business, 2020 hit us hard with forced closures, adapting to become COVID secure and daily uncertainty like never before. However, we are still glad to have made the most out of what this year had to offer.
As the festive season arrives, so do our favourite Christmas traditions. Such as putting up the Christmas tree, wrapping presents, baking with the family and decorating gingerbread houses. However, one of our favourite Christmas traditions is joyful carols, these old traditional songs have been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. Firstly, these lovely carols were sung as a celebration of Christ's birth. Today they are often heard at churches or around the neighbourhood, noting that many choirs sing purely for charity.
What a year it has been... However, not everything has been bad news, and these are the things that we should be cheering for! This could include the positive moments that have happened within our families or celebrations that have occurred, but also to all those things that have happened around us. For example, all the new independent businesses that have managed to still make their way into Cambridge this year.
